One night, Seolgi is lying on a grass field with friends. A shooting star falls, and dark and intrusive thoughts hits her. Her melancholy blooms into bright and colorful “flower people”, dancing around and making a wish of METEORITE to end the world.
The funny thing about feeling alone is that we’ve all felt it. Many of us have even felt as though we wish to leave this earth because we just want our pain to end. Maybe if a meteorite were to land on earth all our pain would collectively be wiped out? Sasha Lee’s colorful animation explores these themes through digital song. Turning pain into art is nothing new but this clever short finds a new way to express these ideas.
