Synopsis
A pregnant vegan struggles with her newfound craving for meat.
MEATS is a gem of a film. Most impressive is writer-director-star Ashley Williams’ six-minute opening monologue as she grapples with her growing desire to eat meat, despite being vegan for her whole life. As she weeps, the bare, skinless skull of a dead lamb stares back at her. This film will make you laugh, but it’ll also make you think. — Kath T (Programmer)
