Hell

On a dying farm in a fictional place called Ash Harbor, John Hardgrave searches for his wife. As he walks through a decimated world reminiscent of the 1930s Dust Bowl disaster, we glimpse a life slowly crushed over a single generation. The barren fields, the dead orchard, and the broken machinery meant to modernize the industry, too expensive to fix and left to rot, stand as remnants of a dream that withered long ago.

As he stands in the silence of their empty home, grief consumes him. In the distance, the
machinery of his demise stirs to life, and the crickets go quiet.
