BLEUE

Directed by Ornella Pacchioni

Produced by Myrina Mané

France | French | 19' | Fiction

An island, a seaside cemetery, a 13-year-old girl, Lucie, who spends her holiday in Corsica. She meets Léo, a dehydrated boy who is always in need to be in the water, but Lucie fears the sea. Their teenagers’ games are immersed in an atmosphere of innocence and mystery.

Fantastic! Gorgeous! Stunning colors! And with a score as evocative as the sea, Bleue drew me in. This highly original coming of age film shows two teenagers’ games immersed in an atmosphere of innocence and mystery. The only thing that could make this film any better is if it literally transported me to the Mediterranean. Hands down one of my favorites!!! — Lauren Reid, Head Programmer
