A boy with epilepsy is so desperate to feel like a regular kid, he goes to prom knowing that the lights will make him have a seizure.

We rarely get romantic films that offer anything beyond the romantic storyline. This does. Under the Lights, written and directed by Miles Levin, is a very personal expression of his experience having epilepsy addressed in a way I have not seen before. This simple, well acted, well edited story brings to light a very large but invisible voice in our community. — Lauren Reid, Head Programmer
