Caught between her anxiety-riddled digestion and an intrusive plumber in the bathroom, Frankie tries to find inner-peace with New Age miracle cures.
Animator/Director Jess Hock takes body humor to new depths with her playful short ATTA GIRL. This relatable film follows Frankie, an anxiety riddled millennial who is at war with her personified (and oddly burocreative) digestive track. I know it sounds stressful, but honestly, as a fellow spoonie, watching this film was super validating. From the judgy feline to the art-direction easter-eggs, I just know you’re gonna laugh. You can trust my gut on this one. — Erin Brown Thomas, Artistic Director
