An Ongoing List of Things Found in the Library Book Drop, Usually Being Used as Bookmarks

Directed by Kayla Abuda Galang

Produced by Preston Lee, Alifya Ali & Samantha Skinner

United States | English | 4' | Narrative

In the quiet lull of a suburban library, mild-mannered library worker Daniel catalogs a strange assortment of forgotten objects left in returned books — and daydreams of the stories they accidentally tell.

Who among us hasn’t left a bookmark in a book before returning it? An Ongoing List of Things Found in the Library Book Drop, Usually Being Used as Bookmarks is highly relatable in its concept and incredibly endearing in its visuals, taking these forgotten items and weaving them into a charming story. And what production design! My goodness if this film isn’t BEAUTIFUL to look at! With pitch perfect pacing and a gleefully earnest presentation any audience member will find themselves grinning from ear to ear.
