remember me

Directed by Claire Lory Titelman

United States | English | 9' | Comedy

Claire’s not doing so good. She’s been dumped, she just moved home to take care of her dying dad who doesn’t remember her anymore, and she’s feeling kind of horny.

But Claire’s not one to let a little midlife crisis keep her down. So she puts on a brave face, slips on her in-case-of-existential-emergency bikini dress, and puts her best foot forward as she rehearses for her first date in a long, long time.

Sometimes you just need to get laid. But how to make that happen when you’re a full grown woman living in your childhood home while caring for your dying dad and still reeling from a massive breakup? That is what Claire is trying to figure out. Writer/Director Claire Titelman pulled from her own experiences to create this adorably funny short film with “one-woman show” vibes, which premiered at Sundance earlier this year.
