Max, a nonbinary person, and Jake, their cisgender male partner with a tendency to misgender them, celebrate their first night living together. Max has another reason to celebrate - they're finally off the waitlist for top surgery. But Jake isn't excited by this news - he's actually totally freaked out. At first, neither Max nor Jake are sure why he's spiralling, but then Max realizes - it's not about their tits. It's about what their lack of tits means for Jake's identity.

Powerful. Honest. Raw. Realizations. Uncomfortable. Emotional. Truths. I could keep going, but I won’t. Jess McLeod has created something special. The acting is sublime. They are not afraid to have the hard conversations. With a fearless attitude and something momentous to say, the filmmaking is capital ‘B’bold. It forces the question, ‘In what ways do I perform for society at the expense of my authenticity?” I’ve not seen this conversation explored in this way. 5/5 stars.
