MARY MEET GRACE
Directed by Faryl Amadeus
Produced by Nell Teare, Elizabeth Mihelich, Amadeus/Amadeus
United States | English | 14' | Fiction
When a stranger appears in Grace's life with disturbing news about her long-lost birth mother, she must fight to untangle herself from a dangerous and sinister plan.
What lengths would you go to to connect with your birth parents? Would you deny instincts and logic if it meant you could meet them? I cringed as this film became more intense, and I loved every minute of it! Two ideas that are broached often and yet it felt fresh and I was all in. The opening scene is so specific, you instantly get a glimpse into the main character’s world. Let’s just say I like Faryl's brain, and I want more of her creativity in the world. — Elle Shaw, Festival Director
